The New York Worldwide Restaurant and Meals Service Present and New York Wholesome Meals Expo would be the subsequent in-person occasion till March 2022

NEW YORK, NY / ACCESSWIRE / May 4, 2021 / After a meeting with the NY / Tri-State Restaurant and Foodservice community and based on the feedback, Clarion Events Food & Beverage Group announced that the 2021 International Restaurant & Foodservice Show in New York and the Healthy Food Expo NY July will not take place at the Javits Center in New York City. Instead, the next in-person event will now take place from March 6-8, 2022 at the Javits Center.

‘As the industry emerged from the long-term effects of the global pandemic, we were in close contact with hundreds of our exhibitors, sponsors, speakers and our association partner and they reported that they were simply not ready for a big live event in the second half of the year 2021 and look forward to meeting people of the same age in person in March 2022, ”said Tom Loughran, Vice President of Clarion Events Food & Beverage Group. ‘While we are disappointed, our events are here to partner with the industry and we know this is the right decision for our community. The overwhelming support from the vendor community for the 2022 event indicates a strong return to a live event in March. ‘

“Feedback from our customers has helped us reposition the event to meet the changing needs of the food service community,” added Loughran. ‘One of these significant changes is an entirely new educational program through our new partner EventEd. The restructured program brings all attendees the best of curated content through four new education summits for independent, hospitality, chain and retail – making this event a must-see. In the meantime, based on discussions with the food service community, we will continue to support operators’ needs for training and networking, and provide year-round food service professionals the opportunity to virtually use our digital forums, a robust, on-demand Webinar to connect library and a new national digital event in late 2021. ‘

“We applaud the tough decision Clarion Events has made and firmly believe that waiting until March 2022 is really the right thing for the industry,” said Melissa Autilio Fleischut, President and CEO of the New York State Restaurant Association (NYSRA) , Sponsors of the trade show and conference. ‘If the past year has shown us anything, we need to remain flexible to be successful – and we take pride in watching how operators have adapted to change and seeing the industry move on and on future growth focused. I look forward to meeting our members and the industry for an exciting event next spring to celebrate the resilience of our industry. Throughout the year we have worked diligently with our members to provide leadership and local / state / national advocacy and will continue to be a voice for the industry. ‘

“We fully support the postponement of the fair and look forward to seeing all of our customers and the dreary food service industry at the Javits Center in March 2022,” said Joe Cirone of Roger and Sons. “It will be a great show when the industry recovers in 2022 and we look forward to being part of this event.” .

‘We’re grateful to our customers and the entire food service community who play an important role in looking after their neighborhoods – either in person, by the roadside, or by delivery. We are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel as restrictions lift across the state and COVID vaccines are successfully introduced, ”said Peter Caro of Sam Tell Companies. “And we are very much looking forward to seeing the industry meet again in person at the International Restaurant & Foodservice Show in New York in March 2022.”

“We look forward to welcoming an event that consistently brings the community together to learn, uncover innovation, and share ideas that represent the future of food service in a time of growth and opportunity,” added Morgan Tucker, VP, Marketing at Singer Equipment, plus companies. “At Singer, we are excited to continue to be part of the IRFSNY legacy and to commit to returning as an exhibitor when the show returns in 2022.”

Coffee Fest NY, which was originally supposed to coincide with the International Restaurant & Foodservice Show in New York and the Healthy Food Expo, will be relocated to Atlanta for 2021 and will take place on July 16 and 16, 2021 at the Georgia World Congress Center. The event will return to New York in March 2022 to return the three shows under one roof for a comprehensive training and product sourcing event as part of F&B Week NY.
