Payments Basis works with Buffalo Go Inexperienced to deliver wholesome meals to underserved communities

BUFFALO, NY (WIVB) – The Buffalo Bills Foundation works with Buffalo Go Green and the Community Health Center of Buffalo.

It’s all in an effort to bring healthy food to needy neighborhoods.

The Bills Foundation has donated $ 25,000 to the program. The program was started five years ago to help people improve their health through a nutritious diet – even if they live in areas considered to be food wastes.

“With this program, we introduced vegetables to our community that they would never have known or seen. So we are very excited to have you here and to work together because the reality is that I can tell you now that I have patients and community residents who need food, ”said Dr. Lavonne Ansari from the Buffalo Community Health Center.

Healthy, locally grown foods are distributed weekly on a mobile market in the Community Health Center of Buffalo.
