Mix Seeds & Berry Max Muesli

Ingredients:

  • 20 g chia seeds
  • 20 g of flaxseed
  • 20 g pumpkin seeds
  • 20 g sunflower seeds
  • 10 g sesame seeds
  • 30 g of dried cranberries
  • 30 g dried blueberries
  • 25 g dried blackberries
  • 200 g of oatmeal
  • 30 ml of olive oil
  • 70 g honey
  • ¼ teaspoon fine-grain sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon

method

  • Roast all seeds dry and set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, add all of the ingredients except dried berries and mix well until all of the seeds and oats are well coated.
  • Spread it evenly on a lightly greased baking sheet and bake at 175 ° C for 20 to 25 minutes until the mixture is dry.
  • Then add dried berries and mix again and bake for another 5 minutes until mixture is crispy. Let it cool down. and then break up the large lumps if necessary. Store in an airtight container and use as needed.

Creamy carrot turmeric soup

Ingredients:

  • 2 carrots cut into cubes
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 ½ tbsp butter
  • 30 g of chopped celery
  • 30 g of chopped celery
  • 1 tbsp chopped garlic
  • ½ coarsely chopped onion
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ teaspoon white pepper powder
  • 1-2 chopped chili peppers
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  • 60 ml of fresh cream
  • ½ teaspoon red chilli flakes
  • 400 ml vegetable stock

method::

  • Heat butter in a pan and fry the onions until translucent, then add chopped celery, garlic and green chillies. Let simmer for another 2 minutes.
  • Then add diced carrots and 200 ml of water. Cook until the carrots are fully cooked and tender. Strain the vegetables and save the broth. Let the vegetables cool down.
  • Then finely puree the vegetables in a food processor.
  • Transfer this puree to a thick pan and add all the remaining ingredients and cook for about 8 to 10 minutes until the desired creamy consistency is achieved. Serve hot and enjoy.

Ingredients:

  • 125 g pumpkin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon chilli flakes
  • 1 teaspoon sugar powder or 1 teaspoon honey
  • Lime wedge

Method:

  • Toast the pumpkin seeds in a pan until they are lightly browned and a little puffy. Stay aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan and then add roasted pumpkin seeds, garlic powder, salt, chilli flakes and powdered sugar. Stir well until the seeds are well coated with spice. Take out of the pan and let cool down.
  • Serve as a healthy snack with a wedge of lime.
