Fruit Ardour provides wholesome meals to guests downtown

LANCASTER – Anna Ruff is no stranger to new business in downtown Lancaster.

Ruff owns a cluster of downtown buildings that house several businesses, including JB’s Downtown Grill and Paperback Exchange, and an event center in Amanda. This time around, Ruff and her cousin George Natsios have the opportunity to run their own business – Fruit Passion.

Ruff said she wanted to give people a quick and healthy dining option in one cheap place.

“If you go downtown, we have so many wonderful areas,” said Ruff. “I just wanted to do something that was a quick selection of healthy options.”

According to the Fruit Passion website, customers can purchase organic playa bowls, protein bites, coffee, tea, and other items to be added at a later date.

However, for those looking for something a little more decadent, Fruit Passion will also serve Hershey’s branded ice cream. According to Ruff, Fruit Passion will be the only place in the heart of downtown Lancaster for visitors to have ice cream.

Fruit Passion is located at 207 W. Main St. near the paperback exchange and is the former location of Rabbit and Rocket.
