Fitbit’s grand plan to advertise more healthy dwelling contains carrying working techniques

Google announced some major changes to Wear OS at its annual developer conference today, and Fitbit devices appear to be part of that new future.

Mind you, no current Fitbit devices, but brand new ones. If you missed today’s Google IO keynote, the big plus for Wear OS is that it’s getting a makeover. The revision is the first major change to the platform in a long time. The basis is a standardization of Wear OS and Samsung Tizen OS.

Together, Google and Samsung will bring together the best parts of both platforms into one cohesive wearables platform. While this is big news in and of itself, there is more to it than that. All future Samsung Galaxy watches will run on this platform. It has also been confirmed that some future Fitbit devices will also run on this new Wear OS platform.

It is also possible that all future Fitbit smartbit watches will include them. But until now, neither Google nor Fitbit have addressed it.

Fitbit Wear OS devices will be “Premium”

Fitbit CEO James Park said the company’s Wear OS devices will be premium smartwatches. Park doesn’t expand that much, but the use of the word premium implies just that. Using high quality materials for everything from the bracelets to the display.

Of course, these will still be Fitbit devices, so it’s likely that the base offerings will initially come with the silicone straps that devices like the Sense and Versa 3 come with. Fitbit will likely offer multiple strap options even now, as it does now.

So you can opt for a “premium” belt if you want. At the moment Fitbit hasn’t announced anything in particular, but Park stated during the keynote that Fitbit will build devices in the future. And not that it already works for some.

If so, the company may not be coming out anytime soon. However, Fitbit is not only concerned with hardware, but also with the new Wear operating system. A Fitbit app will also be created for the platform.

What other non-Fitbit devices can be installed and used? This allows wearers to stay connected to Fitbit’s advanced health monitoring capabilities without having to have a Fitbit device. And that’s a good thing, because not everyone likes the style of Fitbit’s offerings.
